3 months ago, we were introducing micro-payments and explaining the game’s future. Most of you have been waiting for it and hoping for a release date. We have good news! Micropayments are almost ready, and we’re about to enter the beta test phase. We will pick some responsible players who will use the service and help us to find flaws within the current code. However, we won’t open applications and we’ll choose them by ourselves.
Tigrounette will open the beta test next week and if everything works out fine it will be publicly released in three weeks! So please don’t be afraid if you see colored mice during that period!
Melibellule also prepared 3 brand-new skins for you! *-*

That’s right ! Two years ago, during a day off, Transformice was launched and presented to a dozen of players, on a small topic in a videogame forum.
Today, more than 13 million accounts were created, 500 000 unique players visit us a day, 5.5 million a month ! This is truly astonishing, and we still barely beleive it ourselves. What was just a small game created on our spare time became something huge, something we couldn’t even imagine.
And all of this, is thanks to you.
Thank you for the tremendous support you’ve given to us. Thank you for spreading the word, for being involved, for donating, for drawing tons of fanarts that warm my heart everytime, for making great suggestions, for your great feedback. And most of all, for sticking with us for so long, when there are so many new games coming out every day. We definately wouldn’t be here, living our dream, if it wasn’t for you.
Unfortunatly, unlike last year, we weren’t able to prepare a big update to thank you for the anniversary, as the microtransactions take up all our time, and should be launched soon. As a small token of our gratitude, I’ve compiled all the exclusive artwork I could find : you’ll recognize the preparative sketches of some famous illustrations, but also never-seen-before very first artwork of Transformice, on the top left corner.

Changes for the EN community:

Micro-communities (for EN only): if there are more than 11 players sharing the same language, the server will merge them in a single room. For exemple if there are 11 japanese playing the game, the server will redirect them to *ja-1.

Other changes:

You can now share YouTube videos in your tribe houses.
April Fool’s event has been removed.
Fixed the shop. Items correctly will now appear when you try to wear them.
Fixed the unban, the message “IP Interdite” won’t appear anymore.

It’s time to share our plans with you once again!

Micro-payements:

Tigrounette shared this information with you yesterday in the afternoon but we think it’s better to talk about it again. Melibellule has prepared two brand-new skins this week!
Skins and fur colors won’t be recolorable but hats will be as many times as you want!

Tribe:

A tribe forum included into the game should appear by the beginning of summer! This forum won’t be managed by the moderation team but by the tribe members and you’ll be free to share whatever you want on this forum.
With this incoming tribe forum, Tigrounette will also add a new maibox for your Private Messages directly into the game!
We’d also like to add a new feature for your tribe houses! Why not being able to share some Youtube videos via your TV?

Features:

You think you’re one of the best tribe? Why not confirm it by fighting against some other tribes then! We’d like to introduce the “Mulodrome” into the game around this Summer to let you test your mouse skill and compare it to some other teams/tribes.
With the incoming Mulodrome, I’ll prepare an official inter-server tournament that will take place this summer! The main subject of this tournament will be the Olympic Games.
